Het Golden Arrow Technical Diving Center werd opgericht in 1999 door Denis Bourret.

Golden Arrow is vanaf het begin een pionier onder duikscholen in de DR geweest. Het was het eerste duikcentrum dat in 1999 grotduiken introduceerde en eerst EANX/Nitrox -duiken aan de noordkust leerde. Het was ook de eerste school die in 2002 TRIMIX -cursussen aanbood, en de eerste school die in 2008 CCR/Rebreather onderwijst.

Vandaag is de Golden Arrow nog steeds het enige duikcentrum dat het hele duikbereik in het land aanbiedt, van open waterdiver en helemaal tot technisch duikinstructeur.
