Wij van Eudovic Art Studio zijn van mening dat het polijsten van de houten sculpturen het beste is. De lak laat het werk glanzen en is gemakkelijk te onderhouden. Men hoeft het werk alleen nog maar op te poetsen met schoensmeer, bruin, helder of zwart, afhankelijk van de kleur van het beeld. Om de glans te behouden, mag u uw werk eens in de vijf jaar polijsten. Als uw werk nat wordt, kunt u het eerder polijsten, omdat er vlekken op de lak komen. We vernissen onze werken niet, omdat de vernis met de jaren de neiging heeft te vergelen en veel moeilijker te verwijderen en opnieuw te vernissen zal zijn. Wel vragen wij om het werk minimaal één of twee keer per jaar te laten glanzen om de glans te behouden. U kunt dit doen met een zachte katoenen doek of een schoenenborstel.
