Le projet kahkow commence dans 2005 , lorsque la famille Rizek a déjà eu un siècle d'expérience dans la production de cacao fin et d'arôme en République dominicaine.

Dans 1998 , l'ouragan dévastateur George s'est déchaîné contre notre île, détruisant une grande partie des productions agricoles. C'est pourquoi après des années d'efforts, dans le 2001 , nous commençons officiellement la récupération consultative du projet et la gestion organique des plantations de cacao (Paroca), afin de dispenser une éducation et un financement aux différents producteurs du secteur pour se redresser; Renouvellement et récupération des plantations de cacao, initiant la gestion biologique des fermes liées au projet.
