Founded in 2008 by two passionate young Dominican environmentalists, Manny Jimenes and Oly Sang, Explora Dominicana arises from a lack of environmental awareness and ecological appreciation in general at the national level, in addition to a lack of providers of true sustainable ecological tourism in the tourism market of our country and the world. Explora organizes excursions with experienced ecological guides to a wide variety of protected areas and little-known natural destinations in the Dominican Republic. Our trajectory has led us to work with schools, companies, embassies, and different private groups. We always seek to create and strengthen awareness in people, contribute to our protected areas and rural communities, as well as enjoy the environment.
