The Diamond Waterfall is arguably the most colourful waterfall in the Caribbean – less than a mile east of Soufrière's town center. What makes this waterfall stand out is that its waters are laced with minerals as its stream emanates from rainwater mixed with volcanism, giving the falls a colourful appearance that seems to change often.
At the Botanical Gardens, a well-maintained path winds its way from the hot spring mineral baths through ferns and banana plants to a spot where the Diamond River drops into a picturesque waterfall.
